Xbox Series X’s games have gotten a released date, but we are afraid it’s not from official sources. Instead, an Xbox insider shared the release dates for some of the upcoming dates including Perfect Dark reboot, the new Fable, an Avowed, the new RPG from Obsidian. The reports came from a guy named Jeff Grub, claiming that the following games won’t be released next year but in 2023: Fable, Avowed, Perfect Dark, and Contraband. He further added that the next game from InXile, the team best known for the Wasteland series, and The Coalition, the Gears of Studio, would also be coming out in the same year. However, it is possible that some of these titles be pushed into 2024.
While Jeff shared the window about the games’ releases, he didn’t specify an actual date, which makes sense given that the releases are in 2023 and 2024 then the internal dates must not be fixed yet.
While the credibility of the source is up for grabs, we just want to point out that Jeff has been a reliable and reputable source in the past. His reputation was in trouble once when he said that Starfield was releasing this year only a few weeks before Xbox and Bethesda dated the game for holiday 2022. To sum it up, we highly recommend keeping your mind open for change anytime along the way.
At the present time, no official parties have commented on Grub’s post and this probably will not change for a long time.
