Back late last year; Xbox put a call for ideas to gather a few fan thoughts for Space Jam: A New Legacy. The plan was to win some ideas and bring them to life by creating a video game for Space Jam: A New Legacy. Nothing was announced since then, until now, when a new gameplay reveal was done by developers Digital Eclipse featuring Bugs and Lola Bunny alongside LeBron James.

Space Jam: A New Legacy Release Date

The game is all set to release by July 1 globally on Xbox game pass ultimate and will be available to a broader audience by July 15. Xbox revealed wireless controllers for the game two days ago so you can hurry up and get it. The movie Space Jam: New Legacy will release in theaters and HBO Max on July 16.

Stephen Frost, the executive producer at Digital Eclipse, stated that all the game industry veterans are part of the developing team. He further added that the idea of bringing an iconic basketball character like LeBron and the incredible Looney Tunes IP is to bring back the epic feelings of nostalgia to the modern gamers, who never had the chance to experience this first hand. Space Jam: A New Legacy is a chance for everyone to experience and re-experience the nostalgic fun.

Ricky, the adult winner of the contest from the States said, as part of the same announcement that his biggest inspiration for the ideas for the game was from his love for the all-time classic beat ‘em up games. He further stated that players could expect so much from the Space Jam theme: A New Legacy.

Narayan, the youth winner from India, also announced that he is excited to play his dream game brought to reality by Xbox.
