Halo Infinite’s new Battle Royale mode is to have close ties with the game’s campaign, suggested a new report. Tom Henderson of DualShockers shared the information regarding Halo infinite’s battle mode along with some other details on Twitter.
Since it was confirmed by Xbox already that Halo infinite multiplayer will be free to play, so Henderson went on and speculated that Battle Royale’s ties to the game’s campaign is just another way for Microsoft to convince more players to purchase the full game.
He also followed up with a tweet claiming that he is unsure about the status of the mode including whether or not it might have been scrapped.
The tweet made by Henderson is embedded below.
Before Microsoft, 343 Industries also announced the Battle Royale mode of Halo Infinite, Therefore we would want you to take all this news with the grain of salt, seeing as news in the gaming industry keeps changing.
It is suggested to wait for any official news before coming to any conclusions, even though Battle Royale mode was in the works at some point it is now canceled, as suggested by Tom Henderson himself.
That said, Halo infinite is the biggest release for Microsoft in the year 2021. Even though it was supposed to release last year, along with the Xbox series XIS but the game got delayed because 343 industries needed more development time.
Well, we will see if the extra time will be worth the wait, however, we can’t deny the success of the game’s recent multiplayer technical preview which came out positive.
