Evil Dead: The Game has been delayed by the publisher Boss Team Games and will no longer be releasing this year, as was announced by the creators. The game has now been shifted to release next year in February 2022, as suggested in the announcement made on Twitter.
On Thursday, the official Twitter account of Evil Dead: The Game posted and updated us on the delay of the game and announcing that the new version of the game will be more polished and will also offer players a chance to experience the game as solo players.
The polished version will be worth the delay and as the developers said, they hope to convey to the players the ultimate Evil Dead experience they have wanted.
The tweet embedded below shows the delayed announcement.
In addition to the time taken to polish the game, another follow-up tweet was posted announcing the solo version of the game.
When the next gameplay video releases, players can also expect to see Bruce Campbell himself making an appearance.
That is all for now regarding the update, and to sum it up Evil Dead: The Game will now make appearances in February 2022.
