Crysis, the all-classic first-person shooter game, is been optimized and released a year after its initial release. Crytek is releasing a remaster of Crysis, after optimizing this and two other games in the main trio logy on modern platforms.
Crytek has collaborated with Saber Interactive to work on this trio. Crisis 2 remastered and crisis 3 remastered will be available separately, along with the bundle of the other three games. Although no one knows what the enhanced version will entail, those two games will definitely be compared with their original versions released in 2011 and 2013 respectively), Crysis Remastered might hint at something.
The old versions included textures of up to 8K, a bevy of light settings, HDR support, motion blur, and improved particle effects. In addition to all these great tech effects, Crysis Remastered also offers software-based ray tracing on PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X.
