Call of Duty: Warzone has been known to get its content from other COD games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but that is about to change. Raven Software, the publisher of the COD franchise has decided to deviate from the said trend in season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone, hence, the new season of Call of Duty: Warzone will have 2 things belonging exclusively to it.
2 Exclusive Perks of Call of Duty: Warzone
“Combat Scout” and “Tempered” are the 2 new exclusive perks of Call of Duty: Warzone. The first of the perks, Combat scouts, functions exactly as the name suggests. The idea of combat scouts is to support you and highlight injured or damaged enemies, temporarily, on the battlefield pf Call of Duty: Warzone. Combat scouts will make it easier for your teammates to understand your callouts, as now they will be able to differentiate the enemies and relay the information.
Whereas the other perk, tempered, Is built with defense in mind. The perk is quite powerful, as it enables you to go on with 2 armor plates instead of three armor plates.
As was said in the preview of season 5, the tempered perk makes operators’ armored plates heavier and reinforced, as a result, only two of them are needed for an Operator to be considered ‘fully armored’ compared to the standard three.
To explain it more, Tempered allows more absorption of damage points, now the operator can absorb 75 points of damage instead of the standard 50.
However, this change comes with a sacrifice of your Perk 2 slot, so it is advised to choose your perk setup wisely before bulking up with those reinforced plates.
Both of these perks will be added to Call of Duty: Warzone as soon as Season Five goes live on August 12th
