The publisher, Ubisoft, gave a mysterious tease for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla during their E3 2021 presentation last week. A glimpse of a gate covered in glowing runes was shown. After a few days of confusion, the publisher confirmed that the puzzle was solved by Access the Animus. Creed’s fan channel solved the riddle and offered a video on how did they solved the deep riddle. Basically, the writing on the gate denotes a message from Loki to Odin that seemingly confirms the new announcement about Assassin’s creed Valhalla to take players to the realm of Muspelheim.
Ubisoft congratulated the Access the Animus channel in a Tweet.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and the realm of Muspelheim
Regardless of the suspense, this was not the first hint about the realm of Muspelheim dropped by the developers. A noted leaker @xj0nathan shared a code back in April. The code that was data-mined from the game suggested that Muspelheim was listed alongside “Location World Entry” and “DLC”. However, back at the time, it was unclear whether this hinted at Ubisoft’s future Planning or if this was the content that was removed from the game, but after following this tease from E3 it’s clear what was meant by it.
Now since the teaser has been decoded, let’s see how long before Ubisoft drops another hint about this new expansion. It’s clear from the tweet above that there were contingency plans in place in case the teaser went un-deciphered.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
